Treyarch released another patch for Call of Duty: World at Waw (CoD WaW). Three new maps are included! Furthermore the following points were adressed: - 3 new Multiplayer maps: Kneedeep, Nightfire, Station! - Nazi Zombies map with more weapons, Perks-a-Cola machines, and electroshock defenses: Verrückt! - Improved spawning logic. - Auto balancing improvements. Players are no longer auto balanced while completing objectives. - Mods: IWD's can be placed in the usermaps folder. - Mods: Hold Breath / Sprint functions as intended. - Mods: MissingAssets.csv is generated when maps are run with developer set to 1. - Fixed lag caused by shooting at tanks. - All rifle grenades fired during the first 15 seconds of Search & Destroy will be duds. - Players who equip a Bouncing Betty and melee teammates in Hardcore game modes are now credited with a team kill penalty. - Players are now deducted 200 points for team killing the bomb planter/defuser in Hardcore Search & Destroy. - Martyrdom no longer causes direct impact deaths in Hardcore modes. - "Bayonet jumping" has been disabled. |

New Call of Duty: World at War maps are on their way! Nightfire In "Nightfire" players take to the streets of a war-ravaged Berlin with only the flames of the burning city to expose the enemy. 
Station "Station" offers a bombed out underground train station littered with hidden passageways and destroyed subway cars. Knee Deep "Knee Deep" takes place on the island of Peleliu in a once tranquil village turned chaotic Japanese command center. Verrückt (Zombie Asylum) The fan favorite 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode returns with "Verrückt" a terrifying Zombie asylum featuring more weapons, perks via the addition of Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and the endless zombie horde. Treyarch will release DLC Map Pack #1 in March of '09 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC platforms. |

Treyarch released another patch for Call of Duty: World at Waw (CoD WaW). The following points were adressed: - Free Multiplayer Map! The tide is out and the sun is high – this daytime version of Makin sheds new light on the battle! - Fixed exploits that allowed for power ranking servers. - Fixed router related server authentication errors. - Fixed HTTP Redirect functionality for downloading mods - Fixed sound device crashes stemming from Emulated Sound Devices - Fixed exploit which allowed players to color their name tag. -Hits now register properly while targeted player is leaning. - Enabled /cg_drawfps in multiplayer games. - Fixed command-line +connect functionality - /cg_fov no longer resets to the default value in between matches. - Dedicated servers automatically reconnect to the Master Server in case the Master Server resets. - "Accept Game Invite" is bound to its default key, F10. - Implemented fix for attempting to join password protected servers from the server browser. - Fine tuned Bolt-Action Rifles for balance. - Screenshots no longer overwrite each other. - Fixed various multiplayer map related issues and exploits. |

Today Treyarch released a day-1 patch for Call of Duty: World at Waw (CoD WaW). The following points were adressed: - Mods are now enabled in Co-op, Single Player, and Multiplayer. - Players will now be notified when a new patch is available. - Improvements for SLI support. - G_Spawn: no free entities crash has been fixed. - Server no longer runs out of script variables. - License key is no longer required to run a Dedicated Server. - A Dedicated Server can now be started from the Command Line via Remote Desktop Connection. - Various fixes in Server Browser. - Players will no longer see multiple friend invites from the same friends. - When a player calls in a recon plane in a Hardcore match, the HUD will properly appear. - Clan Tags will now display in game where appropriate. - Map holes fixed - Spawn improvements and weapon balancing You can download the patch from our Download section. Call of Duty: World at War is released on November the 14th in Europe. It is possible to rent a CoD WaW server with us. The prices will be the same as for CoD4, so starting from €6,50 / month!
